Cherry Garden Suite  - all on Ground Floor

Access to Cherry Garden Suite Front Door

Access to the private house drive is via an electrically operated remotely controlled gate.  At the top
of the drive are twin garages with electrically operated remotely controlled doors.  In front of the
garage doors and in front of the two front doors to the house, is a 6 metre by 8 metre paved level area
ideal for dropping-off and picking-up from a car, taxi or minibus.  The front door on the left leads to
Cherry Tree Lodge, the front door on the right leads to Cherry Garden Suite.

The front door step is 170mm high and the doors are 800mm wide.  Robust grab handles are
positioned either side of the doorway.  A 600mmm wide metal framed timber surfaced ramp and
a 1,000mm wide metal ramp are both available for access to the front door. 
The doors are well lit and in addition lights are fitted above the doors.  All light
switches are 1,200mm above the floor throughout the house, and all ground floor doors are 800mm wide.
All rooms are illuminated by both natural and artificial light.  All internal doors have lever action handles.
The hallway is 1,400mm by 1,700mm with an 800mm toilet shower room door at 45 degrees to the corner.

Toilet Shower Room

The Toilet Shower Room is an "L" shape with a washing machine at one end of the "L", a shower at
the other end of the "L" and a toilet at the corner of the "L". The washing machine end of the "L" is
2,700mm long and 900mm wide, and the shower end of the "L" is 2,300mm long and 1,000mm wide. 
In addition, an 800mm wide door at 45 degrees across the inside corner of the "L" increases the size
of the room making turning easier.  The clear distance between the door and the toilet is 900mm.
Grab handles are 1,000mm above the floor, vertical grab handles extend from 1,000mm to 1,500mm
above the floor.  Shower controls are 1,000mm above the floor and the basin is 900mm above the floor.

Kitchen

The kitchen is fully equipped with sink drainer, refrigerator, worktop, cupboards, electric hobs,
microwave, electric kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils for 4 guests.
Everything is readily accessible at standard worktop height (900mm above the ground). All light
switches are 1,200mm above the floor throughout the house, and all ground floor doors are 800mm wide.
All rooms are illuminated by both natural and artificial light.

Garden Bedroom

Connecting to the Kitchen Dining Area is the double aspect Garden Bedroom with a DVD television,
a double sofa bed an extra large double sofa bed, a clothes hanging rail and a chest of drawers.
The DVD TV is on a low coffee table, and both TV and DVD have remote controls.   Broadband WiFi
internet connection is provided.  All light switches are 1,200mm above the floor throughout the house,
and all ground floor doors are 800mm wide. All rooms are illuminated by both natural and artificial light.

Garden and Barbeque

A level paved path runs right around the outside of the Cottage.  Drain covers in front of the bay
window make the path slightly uneven.  Almost the entire garden is accessible from the same level.
